Thats what I've been doing;D I had to tested it for a few rides.
up shifting:
from the inner to the middle ring, perfect!
middle to the outer it takes far too much time to get there, it struggles alot
downshifting:
the outer to the middle, the chain stays for a little bit on a some sort of limbo, where it isnt correctly there, you have to wait till it lands the ring for you to pedal.
middle to inner, not that bad.
The thing is, middle to outer, upshifting I cant adjust it anymore (cable or adj screw), or else the derailleur will touch the middle ring.
It works ok on road, but offroad too much erratic gears changes can ruin your ride and parts.
