Raaaaiiiiin... Is anyone managing to ride?

Went out today... Jeez.

The New Forest is a quagmire. Rideable, just, but boggy with 6 inch deep mud bottomed 'puddles' everywhere. Not fun. Even gravel trails (of which we have many) have sections that have turned into quicksand, with water coming up through it.


I suspect the whole country is suffering a similar fate?

Nope. The tops if the hills are underwater, the lower ground is worse

a bit, maybe twice a week if i'm lucky, but not long rides and aiming for gravel tracks

it's winter, it happens every year and i hate it.

I usually ride 3-4 times a week in summer and 2 times a week in winter. It’s only rain , get out there and ride your bike. It won’t melt away. Mud is fun and makes you fitter for summer.
