This was to be my turbo training bike while recovering from surgery.
The turbo sessions didn’t last long as I have never been a fan of garage cycling, so has been inactive for a while.
I purchased it from a local bike mechanic who as it happens is rather good at spanner work and is in first class mechanical condition, everything works as it should, and needs nothing doing to it.
It’s a lovely little frame with Campag dropouts and built with Columbus tubing, and has some lovely short cutout lugs.
The bike has been used, so has paint chips on the frame and several on the chrome rear triangle.
The chrome on the forks is very thin and has peeled off quite badly underneath the fork crown. I have rubbed it down and am pleased to say the metal underneath doesn’t appear to be pitted.
It does have a nice Shimano 105 groupset, turbo saddle and 3TTT bars and stem.
I am too old and timid to ever ride this on the road, but if I was, I would have it shotblasted and painted, though it rides nicely as it is.
