quick answer needed re SRM and IG cranksets!

sorry, haves earched and googled to no conclusive answer and to know quick! not too up on SRAM stuff as never had it before...

will SRAM x.7 shifter/derailleur and correct chain work fine with Shimano IG crankset rings?? if not then will HG?
