[GT BIKE RIDER]

Ok.After trying to find a serial number,i came across a decals at the bottom of the seat tube that was under the frt derailleur and this is what it was.See pic.
It is a FTW decal.So i searched for FTW bikes and found a spooky darkside with the same decal.See pic.
Now the top tube has a larger FTW usa decal on the lh side.
So i guess its a spooky darkside made around 94-95.

I reckon that paint is original unless it had new cable guides fitted at the same time......unusual colour.

I was looking at bikepedia and they have 1997 darkside spooky in a green color.
But the bikes i have found have rear chainstays that are rounded.This bikes are squared.

So i decided to email frank of FTW.To see if he remembers this bike.And without
telling him what bike this might be,this is what he answered:
Yes, I made this bike for Spooky in Arizona. It may be a Mezcal or maybe a Metalhead. Either way it is close to Spooky number #1, or maybe is Spooky #1.

Are there any traces of red paint under the current paint job? If you can tell me more about it (serial number or other markings, where/how you got it), I may be able to tell you more.
