yes llewellyn's have a very strong cult following here. darrell is a brisbane based lad, so there are a few of them on the roads here. quite expensive, low production, long lead time, but superb fabrication, individual fit and beautiful detailing. he won an award at the north american hand built show a few years ago, for best paint job.
there is also another very good local framebuilder joe cosgrove, who builds the frezoni bikes. he doesnt uild so much anymore, however he is a paint master, and is actually the chap darrell uses, to paint his lewellyn bikes.
darrell is also very vocal about his craft and passion, and why he does things the way he does. there are video clips of him being interviewed on the web, i'll see if i can dig them up.
