Anyway after scratching half the bike with a Stanley knife "like time team" i have found some numbers! ND5215768, also there's a K under the BB & a I was here under the top tube ;-)

Hey all! been awhile, hope you all enjoying pedaling in the sun & stopping at all those beer gardens : )
I have loads on new & refub chromey bits to put on my bike & am ready to spray my frame, but I cant get the stem out!!!!! its stuck fast, I mean fast, tried everything in this video!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GRbdnTRH-4
I need to get a 2nd hand one, but am slightly unsure of the following
My question is: The curl/angle at the bottom of forks is the same for all raleighs of similar age? obviously i need a 1" stem approx same length, enough thread length, suit 27" wheel

Legends! Thanks for the input, the vimeo vid is super funny & yep he deffo had to have a holiday due to the stress caused by stem removal.
But i cant get the stem nut out "so i'm pretty f*k'd" as they would say! I even tried spinning the wedge nut 90deg & got a solid bar down the side & hit it one side then other/other/other, they tapped in this video/I really hit it & it just laughed at me : ( so 2nd hand forks for me!
