A favour for a mate to see what is out there. He's an avowed roadie, but is looking for a cheap bike meeting the following fairly undemanding spec:
Mountain bike for going to pub / Tesco
Non-BSO, steel framed bike in the 16 - 17.5" inch range (he's 5' 7 " so this is a guesstimate as to the right size)
Must work ok.
