The cup text isn’t bad on that at all.

The bearings are the obvious giveaway but also the upper part of the headsets text is off.

One of the better ones though.

anyone got a link to them on aliexpress as im in the market for a cheap headset and i thought i dont care if its a copy as long as its cheap and looks good.

Inadequate international reach of the law.

You can buy anything you want on the Internet, and most countries don't check most private parcels below a certain size.

I'm seeing loads of fakes for sale as genuine second-hand by private sellers. 🙄

Its definitely something to take into consideration when buying a used bike. I saw they are doing fake Pauls brakes aswell.

And cheaper parts too.. we even found some fake "tourney" on an Internet bike.
I mean why would you bother!!

Only it didn't work, whereas tourney does. That's what flagged it up.

I purchased a pair of fake pauls levers a bit ago purely to see what they were like. They actually looked the part but you could tell by the pivots and the general feel.

Sold them onto a mate who wanted them. I couldn’t fit fake parts to a bike personally
