Perhaps the frame is too small? Hence the reason the saddle and stem are so high?

Yes. Looks a 16" when an 18" is required, sadly.

I've been knocking around the past year and have come across half a dozen Xizangs that I (foolishly) passed on. I have a sweet Xizang I bought new in 1995 and just upgraded to all new XTR components plus Easton carbon bars and seat post, and Brooks Ti Pro saddle. Now, my Lady Xizang REALLY needs a mate. You might say both of us are getting horny for another Xizang!

Y'all let me know if you hear of any clean and undamaged 16" or 18" Xizangs, okay?
