Proyec XIZANG Near to an end?

I wanted to share some pics of my xizang proyect. It started about 8 months ago when i found a frame on sale, and decided to build a titanium bike with the most titanium parts that i can get: Titanium frame, seat post, saddle rails, handlebar, stem, bottle cage, skewers, and also the fork springs are titanium made, hope you like it.

With the mix you've started with it's likely that you'll come in around 22lbs 10oz with an early Judy SL or SID up front.

im guessing the bolts where possible will be titanium??

I couldn t find any judy sl or old sid in good shape, so I went for this never used SX Ti that was hanging in the bike store since 1998 and I have to say that its not as heavy as it seems when I manage to complete the bike I will upload its full weight and I will try to save some grams by replacing bolts for titanium ones.

Only if they come with the part. Ti bolts give you the least amount of savings.

I still dont know what tires I ll use on this bike, I saw a pair of Schwalbe rocket rons at a good price, thy are a little bit modern for this ride but I ve read they are great rires

Maybe three ounces if aluminum, maybe four if steel. Could also cut the seat post down and run a 300mm instead of a 400mm

No problem with jokes, but this bike is being build to be used, and if i cut the steerer tube it will be much more uncomfortable. Here are some pics of the brand new xtr cs-m950 cassette that i bought yesterday its an 11-30 I was hoping to find an 11-32 or 34 but beggars cant be choosers. I´ve heard that the las three cogs are titanium made, if this is true this will be an excellent acquisition for this bike.
