Bless him, he woke up this morning and struggled to walk downstairs due to aching legs

He must of enjoyed it though he has been asking all evening when we are going to go again and if we can try the blue route!!!!, steady on son, even dad struggles to get round that one.

Excellent tale! It may be a bit of a hike down, but he'd absolutely love this.... http://www.bigbikebash.co.uk/
I go every year and there's loads for kids. They have 'races' for all ages and some excellent prizes (and not often for winning races!).
Cheep beer and live music for adults too ;)

Big Bike Bash looks awesome just a little far away. Think this whole father son riding is going to start costing me a little more than I expected, he has asked me if he can have some "Magubas" as well ( He means Maguras ), better get the wallet out.

Great thread :D Can't wait till mine looses her stabilisers and we can go for longer rides.

Nice one Welly ! ;)

Reminds me of the Surrey Hills ride last year . We came across a bloke who was stuck in the woods with his son ( I hope ! ) and a broken chain .
Thankfully the Retrobike collective came to his rescue .
Bring back recent memories anyone ?
