Project complete and delivered successfully! My wife was over the moon with it, and had no clue what it was under a dust sheet next to the Christmas tree..

We managed to get out together on Boxing Day for 5-6 miles and she says it rides beautifully. I managed to win a Brooks B67 in black off eBay shortly before Christmas so that went on it to finish it off along with some black handlebar grips.
I actually took tools and parts up into the loft on Christmas Eve to do the finishing touches.

Although obviously looks awesome with the black brooks and grips I thought it carried the brown ones really well.

Top work, bike looks great . I’ve never built a bike for any of the family. I just build bikes… let them ride them and then they claim the one they like the best! Given my wife and daughter a Cinder Cone and a Kilauea. Everyone seems to love a Kona!
