Need old proflex parts, specifically either the MCU elastomers that came with the 756, or any shock that will retrofit the rear suspension or vector 2 fork...

I've heard that CVi may have some, depending upon year. No guarantee, but give them a call on 01405 760030.

CVI is dead !!!

closed its doors recently

do have a supplier , for the elastomers not the original yellow ones but modern type , more UV resistant so will last a lot longer

not sure on the replacement shock have to check for you

RAPID DESCENT INNOVATIONS do a spring upgrade for the girvin forks , so will be good for your VECTOR II

ps , dont bother with the boiling / microwaveing solution they will be rock hard again in about a week !!

you definately WONT get a replacement rear shock
( wasn`t sure on the frame shape )

same shape as my 555 , basically

if your interested in MCU`s ( elastomers ) i can get some for about £40.00 for 500mm

gaff has a mate who is wanting some , so we can do a share

more than enough each for 1 frame

I think Risse will have the parts you need. The 756 is listed, but alas the 555 is not.

in fact there is no link on the 756 model number, hence NO upgrade
only the linked model numbers have the upgrade available
the link takes you to the actual shock available

abd as you say no 555 :cry:

Risse shock

I bought a Risse Terminator shock on the promise it would fit my Amp... it bl00dy didn't so is sitting in my part box. I think the only other thing it might fit is a proflex or something as it has no eye one end and slots into a frame. pm me if your interested in pics.
