I do exist! Its confusing, my name appears as pro"yellow sponge& when I post anything, but its as it should be when I sign in which is pro"yellow sponge"flex ??!!

It's no use for either front or back of mine, and if you have an 857 then it definitely won't fit the rear of yours.

It might possibly fit the later K2 where the shock is mounted directly to the swingarm.

O2gf74: the Fox shock looks well on the rear of your bike, still not got around to fitting my adapter yet (working abroad still), you have a disc adapter for the rear as well? any details on that? or a close-up pic?

looks well but works even better - the modern air shock totally transforms ther ride.

there are several different rear disc adapters most of which use the axle as the mounting point. mine is a bit more complicated as it connects at the stay using a bearing to reduce friction (others have used delrin/teflon washer here) and the m5 hole in the drop out. unlike the rear shock adapter, i made this myself from 3 piece of aluminium alloy, bolted together.
