A good friend of mine (JamesLee on here) has a Proflex that has had the rear elastomer replaced with a spring which obviously has made it like a pogo stick.
Since the demise of Rapid descent Scotland I've know idea where to source a replacement elastomer.

Has anyone any contacts for MCU makers where we could possibly get the correct length and diameter made?

Thanks.

Re:

I've heard differing opinions on those Paul, I recall someone saying they started to not return to their original shape after a while?

Anyway I forget the model exactly but In think the Proflex in question is a 94-96?

I'll get James to add to this later.

Admittedly even though I bought some of these about two years ago, the Proflex 552 frame to which they have been fitted still hasn't been built up and ridden.
I'd be interested to hear anyone's experiences of using the Land Rover bushes. If they do compress then it's not a great expense to replace them when they do.

Re:

I bought a set of them and passed them on to Dave Lewis when I swapped my Proflex for his Saracen so I never tried them either.

I replaced the elastomers by a spring almost immediately and it was fine.

Pogo sticking implies the damper is not doing a good job.

Anyone got the measurements of the proflex elastomers?

I've got a few bits of MCU knoking around that might be the right (ish) size?

Re:

It's the dimensions we need. Damper, is there one?

Oddly I know the bike in question but no idea what the shox setup is.
