7 speed thumbies
shimano ? chainset
wellgo flat pedals
weinman/araya rims (true)

If this is bad form I'm happy to remove it (it's just his photos are a lot better!).

The bike now has a broken rear mech and due to my mate's lack of mechanical ability (sorry bud!), it is now sat in his shed. I haven't got the opportunity to fix it for him for a while, and he needs the space. Hence the sale. Looking for £120 and collection from Stoke-on-Trent. At the moment it's collection only, and I'm afraid he's not splitting it.

The frame and forks are in lovely condition and this would be an excellent project bike to build up a minty 656. Prior to the rear mech breaking, everything worked as it should.

Any questions drop me a line and I'll try to help.

Cheers,

Steve

Hm, tempting, but is it better than the 857 on Ebay...?

The 7 represents the year, so obviously the eBay one is a year younger. BUT, and a big but is the seller hasnt taken a driveside photo so your taking a bit of a punt on what you'd be getting.

Personally, I'd go for this one here. You can see what your getting, its had carefull owners who take a pride in what they own, and its a cracking price.

Yep I bought it!

Can't wait to ride it.
Need to fix it.
And it must be polished.
Oh god this is going to be addictive.
Oh no that probably means expensive.

Ace!
