And yet I remain a "hippie." No part of my philosophy has changed in 40+ years.

However.

My "hippie" job in the '60s and '70s was a rock band roadie. If you don't do the job, you let your best mates down. I always did the job, and my "hippie experience" led to a work ethic that defies the genre.

A month later the bike, is advertised on a website.....for 3 times the price.

(third party).......Simply a Broker earning a drink for the unscrupulous BUSINESS, masquerading as a fellow Retrobiker.

Profit, is Profit, no Harm.

But the shocking bad form, is the lies to turn that profit.

And these people are members.

Moral of the story.............Be careful who you deal with.

But It does grip me, the amount of companies that are here of late, None of which actually take advantage of the advertising platform this site genuinely has to offer there retro bike businesses.

It isn't expensive, in fact its ridiculously cheap, it would put something back into the growth of the site, make business dealings transparent, and these people would easily gain more respect from a large portion of the membership too im sure.
