Problem with installing odi attacks

I’ve got some repro odi attacks but they’re really tight. After about 1inch in they are just impossible to move no matter how much wd40/mo94 I use it just won’t budge. I try using a plastic lever but it’s too tight to slip under.

Any suggestions?
I use same grips which great but nightmare to put on and off. Soak in boiling water jug until ready to fit . Use gloves

Just spray wd40, gt85, hairspray with a straw into the grip, worse case scenario run a spoke into the grip whilst its being fed onto the bar, it will slide straight on, and when dry work like glue.

I did a set today, no spoke needed, still works a treat for me.

hope it helps.

Yesterday I had the " pleasure " of fitting a new set of grips on a t140v Bonneville for a customer. Both grips are made for 7/8" bars.....but the throttle is way way bigger......

You think you guys have problems 😂. By the time it was on I was sweating like....well..... a very sweaty thing.....

Deodorant spray is also good, wet when applied, glue when dry.
