Believe it or not they are solid spindles on Exage Mountain hubs. I presume the original owner had these fitted so that the wheels didn't get pinched.

I'm considering swapping the wheels as I have a nice set of black Mavic M7CD's on LX hubs that would look a lot better.

where are you in Hampshire, and I need some info on sizing on these? Any advice please 19" seems big but it has a high top tube?

Is this going to be to big for me at 5'9?
