pre 98 MTB complete bikes for sale

why don't we have a complete bikes in the MTB section like road bikes?

Pre 98 MTB seems to be the busiest part of the forum, does any one else think it would be useful to have complete bikes for sale listed separately?

This is something that I know John is currently considering, and has been for some time.

The format in the Road section was brought in as a trial and, as far as I am aware, has been reasonably well received.

The only foreseeable issue would be when complete bikes which don't sell get split up for parts.
It would rely on sellers to make sure that their threads are kept up to date if this happens so the thread can be locked or removed if required.

Other than that I don't see any other problems with it.

I'm sure that John would appreciate any input on this from everyone though...

And again what they said, but adding to the above I think it would make it easier by splitting 'Parts' and 'Bikes' often whole bikes are lost in the plethora of parts for sale. Should the owner decide to split it gets moved across to the parts section. simples
