1998 Kona Caldera - Steel
Complete re-build, new: XT pedals, jockey wheels, SLX crankset, SRAM casette, stem, handlebars, cables, brakes, chain, and forks.
About the only thing I'm keeping are the frame, and brake levers and shifters. (saddle and post replaced years ago.
Now my question is for my favourite bike of all time, do I respray with wet or get it powder coated? (I'm in London, I was thinking of using Armourtex for powder coating, not sure about wet paint options)
Any advice?
Oh and I'm thinking maybe of replacing the wheels at a later date, any suggestions of cheapish (sub £200 a pair) wheels suitable for rim brakes, most of them seem to be for disc brakes now
