okay,..probably not the best place to start a discusion what is retro,..but i think there is a difference between retro and retro look; like re-issues (like the Tag Heuer watches; Carrera and so on) are retro look and not real retro and so is the Groovy,..it is Retro look,..and not vintage retro,..

Although i think it is a work of art,...it is not retro,...

True, this isn't the place but...

I disagree, loads of people are cashing in on retro cool by reproducing an old look. This isn't what this bike (nor, from what i can tell, Groovy) is about. The fact it shares attributes with older hand-built frames is a function of purpose, surely not imitation?

Vintage is something else entirely.

Thats my point. I'm not in any way disputing the bike, its lovely, i'm merely questioning its retroness (new word there!).

It aint retro......and when PoTM was relaunched, it was agreed no modern bikes......which the groovy is :?

It's def. true that this is not the place for discussion about the meaning of "retro" .... allthough I have my opinions on this
Think we let the mods do what they are paid for I can agree totally with any desiscion they make and I'm offcourse willing to remove or replace my picture(s) don't want to offend anyone.
Keep the good pics comin' :!:

I think the Groovy is the best you can get right now,..it is gorgeous,..and the picture shows that we do not have rain all the time here in the lowlands,..... best of both worlds,...

Personally I think Pickle's already won it with the appropriate summer pic. (c'ept can't see a bike at this quick glance. )
