Potential first project!

I was looking at this on eBay as a potential first project.

As I know nothing about Specialized, is it any good? I'm hoping to create a bit of a weight weenie if I can so is it really a light frame and what year?

btw it doesn't have to be a specialized. I was going to hold out for a Hei Hei build as this was always my dream bike (back in the day). But with two kids this is still out of reach

Therefore, I thought I'd plum for a cheaper option and go aluminum. Around 20 - 21" frame and cheaper the better for now as this is my first real project.

You finally get to the point where you can afford that dream bike.....and then you become a parent and its back to square one again (child 3 on way in 3 weeks for me ).
