I need it there to hang the frogs on Better than chestnuts this time of year.

Which wood did you use ?

The white stuff is hard Maple, the brown is Bubinga.
Theres about 2 planks of each, Maple is about £50 quid a 1" plank(Usually about 9 ' by about 7 or 8"), the Bubinga about £100/plank(@ about 6 or 7' by 10" at 19mm thick)
By the time Im done its about 3 planks(actually they're referred to as 'Boards') of maple, and about the same, maybe 2 1/2 of Bubinga.
Bubinga is from Equatorial Africa. When cutting it it smells like poo :? it's pretty toxic and can cause skin lesions and breathing difficulties in some.
Of all the hardwoods though it's got one of the most stunning grain figures when quarter cut, producing what is described as Waterfall . Boards of that cost £1000's each.
Eg- If I owned a board like this I wouldnt make anything with it, just so I could stare into it.

Very nice work man! Amazing the amount of skill people have here - the other thread with the dagger crafting is another one to admire!
