Postage help from France to UK

Hi guys, a very generous new member has offered to send me some of his unwanted fork spares to me but at 30 euros I wondered if there might be a cheaper way. I have asked him but in the mean time I wondered if any members from France might have experience of posting to the UK to be able to give some advice.

Postage from France to anywhere is always very expensive and courrier services aren't cheaper either. If he lives close to the Belgian or German border he could hop over as prices are cheaper there. In Belgium you can send a 5 kilo (11 pounds) box to the UK for 15 euro (13£)
