Possibly the laziest Sunday ever.

Fantastic. Got up at 10ish, breakfast and papers, 11ish start watching motogp, 2pm start watching the tour. I've just dragged my sorry arse of the sofa now, to eat my tea :D . Rossi won and Wiggins climbed with the best of them, marvelous.

Yep, pretty damned lazzy

I got up at seven thismorning, took the dog for an hour long walk, fitted a couple of fence posts in my garden (quietly as it was still 8.30), finished making the garden gate i started last weekend, cut back a hedge (between showers  ), sorted out the suspension on my VW Polo (lowered it weeks ago but it was'nt sitting right), sorted out my garage and took some stuff to the dump.

Did'nt get any riding in this weekend though

.

What vintage Polo do you have? I've just got a Mk4 1.4 SE which needs lowering badly. To much body roll even for a driving to work car.

This one here, a 94 MK3

Started out as a 1.0 Genesis but now has a 1.3 GT motor, lowered it for the same reasons you mentioned, rolled too much in the corners, the 60mm springs are fine on the front but back was sitting too high, cut down the standard springs and fitted them back on for now (doubt it'll pass an MOT like this though), sitting ok for now but will go for budget coilovers for the rear.

Those wheels are Golf CL steels, going to get the rears banded to 7.5 and fit slightly wider tyres.

Suspention kits are cheaper for MK4's as they have a different (better) set up than the MK3's, think you can get a full set of coilovers for £250, a full set of MK3 coilovers is about £750

You Win! :lol/quote]

Well, I only rode for an hour, but it was 'all-out' in a Cyclo-Cross near Helmsley
