Sure is a nice bike.
Just that it'd be best to do deal in person for that sort of money and he's a long way away.

Like Brocklanders said previously, I'd sway towards a newer five with the 30.9 seatpost and tapered headtube. My parents bought me a 2006 five a few years ago and replaced it with a 2013 five this summer. I had a few upgrades in mind (better fork and dropper post) and I couldn't find any decent straight steerer or 27.2 dropper posts.

Keep a look out on Pinkbike, always some nice ones for reasonable prices.
