This site and forum gave me some inspiration and help so cheers folks

The respray was in fact courtesy of Halfords. I nitromorsed the frame and used some etch primer followed by primer and a number of top coats with a rub down using 600, 800 and 1200 wet and dry in between.

Chain tensioner is a DMR Chain reactor.
