First off, what an incredible job with that resto! Attention to detail - holy @#$%!! My God your friggin brake cable housing looks better than most brand new CNC'd components.
The bead blasted post, stem/bars, and bar ends look absolutely beautiful. What I'm more curious about is how you achieved the beautiful mirror finish on these components before you got them blasted.
That is the look that I would like to achieve with the Hei Hei frame. This may be blasphemy, but I'm less concerned with the original factory look and more concerned with the look that I want - just for me.
So what, exactly, did you use to polish those parts pre-bead-blast and how did you do it? I have plenty of time and patience, and reading your book has provided me with the additional inspiration that I needed.
