Plush forks for a Rocky Mountain Thin Air.... Which ones????

Well......just bought a Manitou 4 and a new dual linear spring kit for them so that sorts out the fork questions. Always wanted some manitou's so now iwill be happy. having never owned suspension forks before I 'm sure I will love them.
Might have to polish the frame now to match.

Rocky is back on the road , now with a rebuilt manitou 4 now with springs, control tech brakes, syncros stem and seatpost and a Hyperlite bar. Nice ride and Very Very lite.

That looks nice :)

Two very tiny pointers though.
1) seatbolt should clamp at the front.
2) rear mech cable goes down the left side and switches under the rear stay top, front mech cable goes down the right hand side.

ok 3) shouldn't the rear stays be a nice red colour ;)

What happened to the nice black cranks ?

Get a post opened in Readers bikes!

Good spotting on the cable routing. Seat post clamp I know. Thats just how I got it. Black race face cranks I de anodized to fit in with the other silver parts.

Which also has the advantage that the natural curvature of the outers will keep them away from the head tube and preserve the beautiful paint, whereas at present you're liable to rub it away. Natural enough that a Rocky Mountain will show good design touches.

Super looking bike, can't be many of them in Australia I guess?

Very nice result, well done on the build. Still I'd prefer some candy red Zocchi's up front

And I wish I could take pictures half as nice as that

Enjoy!!

Very nice looking! Gets my Canadian stamp of Approval! ;)
