Yeah I called him he says he’s done hundreds and never had one come back, is there an air of controversy?

Vernon barker who built frames under his name and painted many a bike for me in the past retired a while ago and the name was sold onwards.

I’ve no direct dealings so would be unfair to comment on the new owners but I’ve seen a few examples of their ‘work’ and wouldn’t let them weld anything of mine that’s for sure.

Good to know, my dad who has no knowledge of bike building looked at it and said don’t go near it if you value your teeth lol, as we all said alu gets brittle if not treated xD
