Please Help me identify this bike: Possibly Orange

Not an Orange, not if its a press fit BB, there were others that had very similar stays and these are far larger than an 'O'.

Fisher had press fit BB and 'evolution' 1 1/4 head tubes around this time.

Orange used top route cabling too whereas this uses bottom pull

Oh, and sorry, it is not exactly Press fit BB, it is like Kleins bikes BB.

Had the same bb on my 17 inch alloy O.
Am very sure that’s a modified Aluminium O frame :)
Especially as you have the frame number, and the geometry looking identical to my 1991 orange o frame.

why on earth would you modify every cable guide?

Heres an earlier O - whether thats a help or not (boy 'O' Bys' O)

Baffled myself
Perhaps damaged cable guides, then deciding to go the opposite... no idea.. mystery

It is close but I'm not convinced. The serial number applies to many frames from this era as I'm sure these were Taiwan

And is that headtube really 1 1/4?

anyway, heres another riveting install

Thanks, save me posting my frame up, head tubes are definitely 1 1/4
I agree there were many Taiwan frames very similar. But don’t recall seeing any with a boxed rear end tubes like the O. Most of them were more similar to an alloy orange Elite.

Yeah, there are some details that do not exactly match, but some that are exactly the same... And yes, the headtube is 1 1/4, in fact, it had a Girvin Flex Stem 1 1/4".
