Seriously though, building up my newly aquired Xizang, mainly with parts that have been sat on the mantlepiece for about 13 years! (it's actually gonna be sad losing the man-ornaments.. :? )

And getting away from the internet/concepts of bikes, and just riding more!

I'm hoping to do the coast to coast off road at some point, probably around easter. As for builds, a klunker inspired cruiser single speed for getting to work and cruising with the mrs. The rocky mountain will be done in a few weeks all being well but my main priority is to get my khs montana pro as close to uk catalogue spec as i can(afford). General aims, survive financially while the mrs is at uni spending a fortune on petrol.

Fewer builds from me. There are a few itches to scratch and I want to build a Schwinn inspired roadster in Titanium at some point.
My main aim is to get out on more RB rides and events. I also swear not to waste any of those balmy summer evenings tinkering when I could be out on the bone dry trails.
Highlight for me will be taking a month off work and heading off around Europe with the old Alfa- Le Mans24hr- Lake Garda- Milan(Alfa Centenary Week)- Tuscany- Pescara- Rome- Vienna- Le Mans Classic 24. Ace!

Just make sure you include the Genoa-La Spezia coast road in that . It's not so much a driver's road- it's too busy- but a perfect cruise for a summer evening.

The roads around Pienza are stunning - and the locals have some taste too - this summer we stayed in Cortona and on the way to having a look at Pienza we were overtaken by 'an old Lancia'. I couldn't make out what the model was, attempted to keep up with the clearly old man's 'spirited' driving in our 1 litre panda hire car, then realised it was an absolutley mint Fulvia when we got to the top. Beautiful!

Oh yes, in 2010 I want to actually ride my bikes!!! Seems to be a recurring theme!!

I concur with most of what's been stated above. My fairly serious knee injury last week was, oddly, well-timed and maybe just the punch in the face I needed to finally get properly fit, ride a lot more and spend less time & £££ on fettling... 2009 has been a tough year on a lot of people's wallets and I for one don't wish to spend next year worrying about money as much as I did this year. And realistically three MTBs is more than enough (geared hardtail, geared full suss and a retro singlespeed)!

Seriously though, more riding required for me and I'm going to rebuild my retro collection (after having to sell most of it :cry: ) with more focus. I'm casting adoring glances towards the 2010 Orange 5 as well so my remaining retro r/c may have to go to finance that.
