Hamilton showed how poor an overtaker he was when he was behind Schumacher at Italy, bleating on the radio about how unfair it was that he couldn't force his way past. Especially highlighted by Button cruising up to them and overtaking Hamilton then Schumacher while Hamilton still failed to get past Schumacher.

Not quite true.... in getting on the grass, and backing off the throttle, the car lost speed and allowed Button to seemingly cruise past. Also, I beleive, but don't know for sure, that there where gearing differences between the 2 Mclarens

Also, I think he was making a bit of a point on the radio calls to the stewards

Or, to put it another way, following yet another failed, desperate, lunge into a gap that was never going to be there when he got there, he ended up on the grass, allowing his team mate to pass him and shortly after pull a textbook clean pass on Schumacher - something Hamilton could have done a lot earlier had he been any good at overtaking :)

There's that little Finnish guy coming back this year driving for Lotus. They don't call him the Ice Man because it's cold where he comes from.
Always been a fan of Kimi.

Hope he returns on form, didn't enjoy his last year in F1, he just didn't seem to have his heart in it.

The only driver I've seen in modern times that gives me a slight reminder of James Hunt.

And here's another thing I'd like to see - but won't - in 2012... I miss James Allen commentating. There, I said it. Feel a bit dirty, but it's done, now.

I couldn't get along with Legard doing it, and I think Coulthard is OK as the trackside pundit and SME with EJ and that guy with the iPad who presents. But commentating on the race, I just can't get. Brundle is the best combination of driver and still something of an expert, but also providing the excitable, communicate-some-enthusiasm to the masses.

Allen for his gaffs, and maybe the odd irritation, on reflection, is the guy I've found to be the best (apart from Murray Walker) partner with Brundle in the commentary box, so far. Never thought I'd say it, never really wanted to say it, but there you go, I've said it, it's done, I can move on. It'll never happen...

I have said that before myself.

James was the best foil for Muddy.

Muddy: ALESSI'S INTO THE PITS! ALESSI'S INTO THE PITS!

James: Alessi was out in the mishap in turn 2 on lap one, Murray ...........idiot
