Pink, white and Blue Dawes

Rescued this from the tip last weekend, not anything amazing but seemed far too nice to leave there. Doesn't have any stickers with a model name so not sure what it is?

Couldn't find a post to fit out of my stash, 25.4 was too small and 26.8 too big. If there are any Dawes fans out there that might know what size I need I'd be grateful?

Is that a good thing? My knowledge of road bikes is prettty limited, certainly never ridden a Dawes apart from the Kingpin my mum used to have in the 80's!

All came apart fairly easily, gave it a quick polish up and doesn't look too bad. Well better than it did to start with anyway.

Nice fade. I'd guess 26.4 for the seatpost...

Thanks, I did try a 26.4 from another bike and it seemed a bit tight so I bought a 26.0 but that seemed too loose. I'll have another go with the 26.4 when I get a chance.
