Pinarello Prince Fassa Bortolo Team Frame

Does anyone have an idea why my 2001ish FB stamped Pinarello Prince Fassa Bortolo team frame has campagnolo stickers on it? To my knowledge the team used Dura Ace 7700 back then...

Just wondering which way i should go with my build.

Fassa Bortolo used campagnolo in 2004 and 2005, is this is a true team frame then maybe it was an older frame used as a training bike, maybe just an older stock frame that was used later, by 2004 they were on the dogma but maybe one of the riders preferred the prince?

or maybe whoever has owned the frame for the last 15+ years has just put their own stickers on it....

A quick google search for "Alessandro Petacchi" brings up plenty of pictures of him in the Fassa Bortolo team colours riding a Pinarello Prince with Campagnolo.

I suspect this means the frame may be junk and you'd be better off just sending it to me, to save further confusion and unnecessary worry. I can send some Dura Ace-like logo crayon drawings in return. :xmas-big-grin:
