Pimp my Magura's

Hi

anybody here ever attempted to polish Magura HS33 rim brake calipers?

Hoping to make a standard red set a bit more pimpy....

Any thoughts / experience / pixs appreciated

I polished mine back in about 1993 because they were a bit scuffed, mine were black but I bet the red paint is a lot thicker. You can't use paint stripper for fear of damaging the seals but you could try soaking them in magura fluid as that removes somes paints. Otherwise it's lots of tedious scratching with progressively finer grades of abrasive then polish. Looked good but it's a few hours work.
