Hi all,
I'm selling my pilorget bike (believed to be Reynolds 531C tubing- If someone can let me know how to wotk it out I would appreciate it!)
Amazing 80's paint job (which prompted me to name it Kevin Bacon). White with Neon lightning strikes. Seat tube is 55cm c-to-c and top tube is 56cm c-to-c so it is just a little too big for me. Am deciding to sell it as I have two other lovely racers and I am de-cluttering.
The Pilorget is French thread and will need a new Bottom Bracket. I was just using it to ride into town and was using a pair of Galli French Thread Cups and a Campag spindle. The fit is a bit loose as a result and could do with something that isn't cobbled together from parts to be honest.
Victory / Triomphe Crankset (My favourite) with Campag Superleggeri pedals (NOT Titanium) with original Campagnolo round plastic dustcaps (some of the silver paint has worn off).
3ttt Paris Roubaix bars and a 3TTT stem. Cinelli Bar ends and also little plastic cable guide thingys.
Nice Campag headset (can't remember which type). Triomphe Brake levers (I have white or black hoods) and Athena Brakes with original brake blocks and plastic guide cover things.
Neon yellow Iscaselle Saddle
Campag Athena rear mech. Campag Gran Sport Seatpost. Mavic CXP 30 champagne rims on Campag Croc D'aune hubs.
There are also some Chorus or C Record Downtube levers kicking about somewhere that I will try to dig out and put back on.
General condition is about 7 or 8 out of 10 given the age. There are a few little rust spots on the chrome forks and the rear stays that should polish out easily enough.
(I am also hoping to sell loads of vintage Campagnolo stuff- Athena bits and bobs, Chorus pedals, Graphite Stuff etc) and probably loads of Campag rims too.
Michelin Lithium tyres.
I'm looking for £550 ono for the whole bike (Collection only from Epsom).
And yes, I will consider splitting for those of you out there who fancy the pedals or the wheels...
