Pictures from the Cycle Museums.

Though of this from a FB group, the thread turned into a link the museum with bikes in them.

So I know lots of you have been to many around the UK.


Pop up some pictures, a link and let save the teavelling, or inspire a trip.

Being near Hull here I have the Streetlife Museum with an old shop, and old old workshop/smithy, history of the local scene, Kellogs tours, Little Switzerland Cyclocross races, retro age bike and older.


Over the Humber at the Trolleybus Museum, Sandtoft there is a small collection there too.
Of course Nation Cycle in Wales, Science Museum, London (seen plenty posted on here from there, there is a thread for that I think)

I'll have to did out some pictures.

Yep.. it sure is.. frustratingly, the cables are still buggered up on the top tube!

Every time I’m in I am sorely tempted to demand to see the Museum Director and talk my way into the exhibit with a set of Allen keys..

The Canadian Museum of Science and Technology has an entire bicycle area. These aren't my pictures though, winter wasn't bad enough this year to necessitate museum visits

Think some of these are as extreme as a mullet can get! I reckon many of those older bikes are 150 years old, incredible really.

Probably 1830-1860s, just a guess though
