Picked up this green 99 rockhopper A1 FS

And I've fallen for it, but she's just a little too small, it's in excellent condition and almost complete apart from saddle grips and shifters. For now it will going on the wall untill I find another one or something similar that can be ridden.

How can a bike that looks that unused need replacement shifters!

I'd get a nice set of m750 or m570 shifters on that and it would be perfect.

Yeah it's a very strange one, original shifters are LX rapid fire SL maybe they seized up from lack of use, and the original grips would have been nice because the tyres are like new.

Got her back to near original spec with some period grip, BG saddle and nice condition LX shifters and I forgot how nice those shifters work, could do with replacing the levers but there hard to find in that colour. If only I could find an 18" in the same green so I could use it.

The green Specialized are the best
