Just writing up some words on a memorable day at the Masi workshop inside the walls of the Vigorelli Velodrome in Milan and thought I'd post a couple of pics here...

Re:

Nice photos, Augustus, thanks for posting them.

When did you take these? Is Masi still working there? Did you visit just to take the photos and see the workshop?

3 or 4 years ago I'm sure I read that an American company had bought the workshop and name (I'm aware of the existing Masi brand in the USA, it's not that) and that it's future was uncertain - I think I read this in a magazine, maybe Roleur or The Ride.

Anyway, good to see a proper craftsman and an old-fashioned, characterful workshop.

Thanks.

I think I went there a year or two back. Alberto was there welding away and kicking back with his mates. It was all go. The hand painted Campag poster/ wall upstairs was so good. I think I already posted that here recently, not sure.

Love all your photo threads! Stunning pictures!

Bless you, thanks. It was a good day spent there. Some of the old Campag posters and stuff were quite something.

Will post more factory visits when i ind them on drives as i go.
