Peugeot triathlon

Good day folks,
There seems to be a confusing array of different specs for the Peugeot triathlon during the 80s.
Does anyone know why some versions of the same model had a seat post tightening clamp and others didn't 🤔?
Thanks all

There were two versions from memory , one higher spec which I think was based on the PGN10 and the other lower spec. Peugeot around this time also had three types of seat clamp , the standard binder bolt , the rear seat tube backward facing allen bolt which was used widely on the higher spec versions such as the pro10 and the quill seat post. I think I've got some Peugeot ads from the 80's with both Triathalon models so I'll have a look through some old magazines when I get chance.
