Classic Peugeot Triathlon machine from the 1980s. Reynolds 501, size 63cm, 700c wheels, new 23mm tyres, 3 x 8 Shimano. Built up but never ridden - some new parts and original handlebars, stem, shifters and white Triathlon saddle.
The frame has been stripped and powder coated in bright red for the diamond and a "carbon look" metallic grey for the forks. Both finishes have then been overlacquerd, new laser print decals and genuine Reynolds stickers on frame and forks.
Obviously the frame is in immaculate condition (saddle has a few grubby marks).
I bought this machine, carried out all the renovation work, with the intention of using it as a brisk summer bike - but I simply haven't ridden it (too many bikes!) ... The horizontal rear drop-outs would make this an ideal conversion for a fixed.
Willing to box and send by courier, at cost, or collect from Stratford-upon-Avon - looking for £220 (repaint cost nearly £80!)
