Bike is in general superb condition, and super light for it's age (early 1980's). Built up but never ridden! to note, there are some minor marks on the forks, and an near imperceptable bend one of the seat stays, but the bike is 'true', and is the best of it's type I have seen.

So nice... compliment...👏👏

Hello. Just a quick question. I've seen one of these frames for sale here in Spain, but the metal collars are loose. I don't know which is the function of these, how can they be fixed or they are for mere decorative purpose?

If you mean at the lugs, they should not be loose! They are in effect a lug adaptor to allow the 30mm tubes used on the frame to fit into lugs designed for 28.6mm tubes

Thanks for your answer.
In fact, they are not loose, three of them are broken, probably due to the pressure they receive from the tubes that are compressing. So, this frame must be crap.

Nice .....I'm assuming as the pics were posted nearly 2 years back you've long since sold the bike?

Hi DuncM.

I can confirm the bike now resides in my collection. Sorry, for that but I'm more than happy to share information..

There’s a later PY10FC frame on eBay just now. I’m assuming it’s a later version as it has DT shifter bosses. It also doesn’t have the additional collars at the lugs.

Im pretty certain that frame currently on ebay isn't a genuine py10fc , it is a vitus frame with Peugeot decals . Peugeot made their own carbon fibre tubes which were oversize and secured with extra reinforcing rings at the lugs. This frame look like a vitus carbon 3 stickered up as a Peugeot.
