Retro Newbie
Rare and prized French road bike from the 1980s that weighs only 1507 grms. At the time this was the lightest steel frame for a road bike. Much lighter than Reynolds 531 - 2300 grms, Reynolds 531 Competition - 2050 grms, Reynolds 753 Race - 1800 grms, Columbus Slx - 1966 grms, Columbus Tsx - 1945 grms, Columbus Sl - 1925 grms, Vitus 172 - 1790 grms.
I bought it 8 years ago from a guy in France who said his dad bought it from new but rarely rode it. My intention was to get my hands on the frame and upgrade everything but then it arrived and I couldn't do it. It was in such good nick. I felt like it would be sacrilege to take it apart. So for the last eight years it has come out in the summer for a few rides and a lot of looking.
But I've finally run out of space. We've got five bikes and two toddlers, and all their crap. So someone else needs to take responsibility for loving it.
