Peugeot Perthus Pro - bought new (by me) in 1988 - refurbished in 2008 - now has Campagnolo Record 10 installed throughout!

Lovely understated paint job - gives the frame a degree of the timeless.
The chrome 753 forks look gorgeous. I like the black bar tape - it ties in the carbon bits. I know others may disagree, but I think the modern Record sits very well on the frame. If it helps the frame get ridden and enjoyed, that has to be good thing, doesn't it?

That series of photos reminds of the film 'Forrest Gump', where the star finds himself in a wide variety of significant places. I won't say it overshadows the 458, but it sits well alongside.

Definitely a big 'thumbs up', from me.

I have one of these with the original shimano 600 groupset.

sadly the paint was a bit nacked by the time I got mine so its since been powdercoated grey.

the frames really are lovely.

Presumably that isn't the original seat post. If not, was it easy to find another that fit? I have heard that Pug posts were a strange size.
