im about to buy this peugeot bike for $250 and i want to know what model it is so i can know if its worth it

There's a website called Peugeot Bike boom which has lots of catalogues which might help with the model. This is mainly a UK forum so it's difficult to put a value on it for your market but it's looks like a fairly basic late 70s model.

It's probably a uo8 which was a big selling sports bike from the 70's. It seems a lot to pay , in the UK you would expect to get this for about 40 - 50 pounds on a good day as it is very basic .
