Peugeot Atlas 1988

Just picked this up for £40 as a winter bike and couldn't resist taking it up where it belongs.

Far nicer, more agile and precise, less sketchy, than it has any right to be.

Found myself unintentionally bombing along a proper MTB trail and it was a blast.

I've had supposedly much nicer 80s MTBs and I have to say this was surprisingly good.

Not quite the same as the catalogue - mine's 18 speed. Mostly original but not completely.

Re:

I like that too. A proper 'all terrain' bike - none of this mincing about, one-terrain-only, 'I'm a mountain bike' malarkey. A proper I-don't-care-what-terrain-you-throw-at-me, bring-it-on-and-I'll-deal-with-it bike. I like the paint job too. :D
