Peugeot Aquitaine

I have just bought a beautiful metallic green Peugeot Aquitaine sports tourer for my wife, which is a 10-speed with a brown Brooks copper-studded saddle and a unique thin twin lower crossbars. Great bike but I just wanted to know when they came out? I've been on to the Peugeot bicycle brochure site and although there were a couple of similar designs from the mid-1980s, I couldn't find this specific model. This replaces her old Raleigh Esterelle from 1983, which she'll be selling.

Presuming it's original you can probably get a date code from the rear derailleur or another part – might be the easiest way, as catalogues can be hard to pin down sometimes.

Thanks all, I found a French brochure online from 1989. It is a similar spec to the Peugeot Bretagne, only with slightly smaller wheels.
